Processing takes place within the framework of the European General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR. 2016/679/EU
The legal basis for the processing is that we have a legitimate interest in doing so (GDPR Article 6, paragraph 1, point f). In particular, this means that we need your data to provide the services you have requested (optimization of the website, uniform presentation, enrollment, authorization to access functions).
Definitions of the terms used (e.g. “personal data” or “processing”) can be found in Art. 4 of the GDPR. 2016/679/EU
There are only a few data that are collected without your intervention, but which are necessary for the correct functioning of the website (cookies) or are used for statistical purposes. If data is evaluated statistically, then it is modified by us in such a way that you cannot be identified or can no longer be identified.
Another group of data is stored on the web server for technical reasons in order to be able to possibly correct errors or clarify misuse. This data is normally deleted after 3 weeks.

Due to your objection, further use of the website may no longer be possible for technical reasons.
How do we collect data?
On the one hand, your data is collected by you providing it to us. This may be, for example, data that you enter in a contact form/inquiry form. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. Internet browser, operating system or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.
When submitting an inquiry form, the data entered will be forwarded to us (the responsible entity) via email. The data is stored on the web server for 3 weeks for security purposes and is automatically deleted after this time.
We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.
If you use a form where you can enter your email address, you will also receive this privacy information via email.
If you request to receive newsletters or promotional material, your data will be stored on the server. In this case you will receive an email asking you to confirm the enrollment. If we do not receive a confirmation within 14 days, your data will be automatically deleted from the server again.
The management of data on the web server is the responsibility of the company sthot-systems, with which we have concluded an agreement on data processing. Based on this agreement, the data will not be disclosed to third parties and will be protected as best as possible against unauthorized use and loss. You can find out more about sthot-systems’ data protection at the following link: https://www.sthot.eu/datenschutz.html
Cookies
In addition to the aforementioned server log files, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive associated with the browser you are using and through which the entity that sets the cookie (in this case by us) receives certain information. Cookies cannot run programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They serve to make the Internet offer as a whole more user-friendly and effective.
Use of cookies:
This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:
Transient cookies (see 2)
Persistent cookies (see 3).
Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include in particular the session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the joint session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified duration, which may differ depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies in the security settings of your browser at any time.
You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that you may not be able to use all the features of this website.
We use cookies to identify you for subsequent visits if you have an account with us. Otherwise, you would have to log in again for each visit.
Google Analytics
Due to our legitimate interests, this website uses the service “Google Analytics” for the optimization and analysis of our online offer in the sense of GDPR Article 6, Paragraph 1, Point f, which is provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The service (Google Analytics) uses “cookies” – text files that are stored on your terminal device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google LLC complies with European data protection law and is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active.
IP anonymization is used on this website. The IP address of users is truncated within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area and in the other states party to the Agreement. Only in individual cases is the IP address initially transmitted unabbreviated to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. This shortening eliminates the personal reference of your IP address. The user’s IP address transmitted by the browser is not combined with other data stored by Google.
Under the terms of the data sharing agreement that we, as the website operator, have concluded with Google Inc., the latter uses the information collected to evaluate website usage and website activity and provides services related to internet usage:
The data collected by Google on our behalf is used to evaluate the use of our online offering by individual users, e.g. to create reports on website activity and to improve our online offering.
Prevent storage of cookies
You have the option of preventing cookies from being stored on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. It is not guaranteed that you will be able to access all the features of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

Google Maps
This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.
Google Maps is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and to make it easy to find the places we indicate on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of GDPR Article 6, paragraph 1, point f.
More information on the handling of user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of GDPR Article 6, paragraph 1, point f.
For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website was accessed via your IP address.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font is used by your computer. For more information about Google Web Fonts, see https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

If deletion cannot be carried out because the data is required for permissible legal purposes, data processing will be restricted. In this case, the data will be blocked and not processed for other purposes.
